Wood Mycology Laboratory
The Wood Mycology Laboratory is a PC2 registered laboratory required to provide testing services for fungal durability of wood (either preservative treated or naturally durable timbers) using a range of testing methods including European, American and Australasian standards and protocols.
Capabilities also include: isolation and identification (morphological and DNA) of wood inhabiting fungi; microscopic examination of timber for wood degradation; antimicrobial testing of materials including paper and plastics using recognised international standards.
